Baileys Harbor is home to many critical, threatened and endangered plants and animals. These species rely on the specific conditions which are found right along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Even the slightest changes in climate could pose a major problem. During this program, Katie Krouse, Program Manager, The Ridges Sanctuary, will explore the flora and fauna that rely on the specific conditions found here and discuss the threats to their survival.

Fish Tales is an educational program of Crossroads at Big Creek Learning Center and Nature Preserve in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Topics addressed in Fish Tales 2021 include the science of catching and releasing smallmouth bass, movement of brown trout and lake whitefish in Green Bay, movement of trout and salmon in Lake Michigan, and how efforts to control the invasive sea lamprey allow Great Lakes fisheries to thrive.
