Kennedy joins the LNRP team through the professional science masters program at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences. She has a B.S.  in Environmental Science with a concentration in Natural Resource and Ecosystem Conservation from the University of Alabama, where she worked in a groundwater lab for two years and worked for the Black Warrior Riverkeeper. She is from Kentucky, where she worked with the state’s Fish and Wildlife department and discovered her passion for stream and wetland restoration, work she is continuing with LNRP. She enjoys the collaborative effort and hands-on work of habitat restoration.

                Outside work, Kennedy loves creating art of all sorts, particularly painting. She also likes reading, spending time with her friends, hiking, and playing video games.
