Come explore the wonders of the Wisconsin Ledge along the ancient shorelines of the Horicon Basin. A tour guided by cultural landscape expert Jim Uhrinak will provide special access to the vast natural and cultural resources of the Kolterman Property. Owned and managed by the Milwaukee Audubon Society, this site is perched along the western edge of the Horicon Marsh and is being restored to its pre‐settlement conditions.

Trip begins at Marsh Haven Nature Center (W10145 State Road 49 Waupun, WI) for a short presentation and discussion about the site’s natural and cultural history before caravanning to site for a two‐hour hike on varied terrain. Dress for weather ‐ event held rain or shine.
