The first half of this presentation will describe the history and water quality objectives of a specific watershed plan known as a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL). We will discuss how TMDLs provide a framework for water quality improvement and the steps involved with developing and implementing a TMDL. The second half of this presentation will focus specifically on the NE Lakeshore TMDL and include information about the project timeline, an overview of the watershed, and the actions for successful implementation of the NE Lakeshore TMDL.
